Feathers And Frost, Feeling Thankful At Coffee And Cards!

Feathers And Frost

Feeling Thankful At Coffee And Cards!

Thanks for coming to my blog today. We are being highlighted by Kylie Bertucci and you will be able to vote for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of International blog hop so please vote for me. You can vote for me here.
The theme we have is thankfulness and gratitude and whilst I don't have a thank you card for you, it is a very apt card for this theme.

Next Monday brings my last week of Coffee and Cards for this year. Each week I run two Coffee and Cards sessions and we have such a lovely time. Today the ladies were all reflecting on how much they enjoy it, what it means to them and why they like to come. This was rather a humbling experience for me.

I love this part of my week, we all gather together, craft, giggle, put the world to rights and leave any worries behind. As they spoke about their reasons why they come it occurred to me that they possibly don't realise that I love it as much as they do, and how much joy it brings me. Quite a fitting card today don't you think! It may be part of my Stampin' Up business but that I value each and every one of them and the connection that we share.

This week at Coffee and Cards I showed them by using the Stamparatus you can make a batch of cards quickly and easily.

Here are some of the ones made this morning. I think they loved the Stamparatus as much as I do. It's certainly much easier to make a batch of cards and of course there is no "mis stamping" too.

I hope you like my "Joy" card. Do vote over here. I would LOVE to take part in the International Blog Hop featuring the winners.

Our second card today was not a card but upon request a repeat of the simple chocolate sliders we made a couple of weeks ago. A couple of the ladies missed it and when told about them by the rest of the group wanted to have a go. The rest of the group were very happy to make them again too. Such a lovely group! Aren't they fun. These one's have Freddo chocolates inside. Perfect to hand out or put in a stocking.

Theses are the ones we made a couple of weeks ago.

I do feel that my Christmas cards to these lovely ladies will be more of a thank you card, for making my week special too. It's amazing the friends and relationships you make when you are stamping and for that I am thankful. so watch this space next week for some special thank you cards that I will be making over the next few days. I will post them here after they have been received.

I am very much looking forward to tomorrow's Coffee and Cards and more play with the Stamparatus with good company, coffee and maybe a little cake! I hope you have enjoyed seeing what we have been making at Coffee and Cards this week.

I've ordered my new Spring Summer Catalogues . Do let me know if you would like to go on my list to receive one and I would be happy to send you a copy.

Fabulous Flamingo"s At Coffee And Cards!

Fabulous Flamingo's At Coffee And Cards!

It's so cold outside, we went a little tropical this week with the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Fabulous Flamingo card Stampin Up

Isn't he gorgeous! He is a three step stamp but so easy to line up. I had to stamp in him the ink colour Flirty Flamingo of course!

Fabulous Flamingo card Stampin Up

This set has lots of useful sentiments and I LOVE the font!
This one is a congratulations card. It says "Tickled Pink For You" on the front.

And this one is a Thank You

I added some of the leaf stamp inside and on the envelopes too.
I used the greens, Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads for the leaves and grass.

Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #032

Swirly Snowflakes Christmas Card

Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #032

This time on Inspire Create Stamping Challenge we have a sketch challenge. And interestingly, this time we have pretty much a blank canvas to work with. I do love a sketch challenge.

The weather has suddenly turned cold around here and winter has definitely arrived. I often get inspired by the seasons and this is no exception. I wanted to create a Christmas card that had a wintery feel to it.

Christmas Card, Woodland embossing folder, snowflakes, Stampin Up,

I decided to keep everything Whisper White and Silver and created a background by running a panel of Whisper White through the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I simply added some snowflakes from the Layering Seasons Thinlit dies in Silver Foil Card and some Rhinestones.

Christmas Card, Woodland embossing folder, snowflakes, Stampin Up,

I added "to the world" from the Feathered Frost Stamp set inside in Night Of Navy

Christmas Card, Woodland embossing folder, snowflakes, Stampin Up,

I did a little mix and matching with my dies on this card. I heat embossed the "Joy" in Silver on a scrap of Whisper White and cut it out using the smallest Stitched Shape circle die. The Swirls are from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlit dies. I normally keep to one set of dies on a card but I do love those swirls and they have been sitting in my stash waiting to be used! - Use what you have. Don't be afraid to mix and match!

Do hop over to the Inspire Create Stamping Challenges here to see what the rest of the talented Design Team have come up with. Do play along too. It is very easy to add your link. Every challenge, a winner is announced and we love to have lots of entries.

I hope you like my card. Here are the products I used with clickable links to my online shop.

Christmas - Rudolph Chocolate Treat Slider and Extravaganza Sale!

Rudolph Chocolate Treat Slider

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

I have a very cute Christmas project to show you and I have used some of the paper, card and ribbon that is in our Online Extravaganza sale that starts today!

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

With Rudolph on the outside and inside too!

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

See how he slides!

I think this is a really cute fun gift. Perfect for a treat or a stocking filler and so easy to make.

I used some of the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper - which is on sale in the Online Extravaganza that starts today! All of the Paper, card and embellishments form the Annual Catalogue are in today's sale which lasts for 48 hours.

There are limited amounts of each product available however so don't wait to order.

Very simple to make

You need a piece of paper that is 6 x 6 inches.

Score at 2.5 and 5 inch.
Turn and score at half an inch - this is the bottom.
Adhere together to make your pouch using tear n tape.

Punch a hole in the top using a half inch circle punch

Wrap your ribbon around the length of the chocolate bar and back up through the holes, securing with some linen thread in a little bow. He will then slide up and down.

I decorated mine using the scalloped tag topper punch and the Cookie Cutter stamp and punch.

Depending on the size of your chocolate treat you may need to adjust your measurements to fit. I took inspiration from this from a couple of swaps I recently got with coffee in and chocolate in. It was very easy to adapt the measurements.

Here are the products I used to make the Slider with clickable links to my online shop.

This trip was absolutely amazing and I would never had the opportunity had I not joined Stampin' Up! There are so many fun events and opportunities and I have made so many friends. If you think you would like to be part of this amazing company too, do get in touch. I would love to have you on my team. There really is something for everyone!
