Water Colouring at Coffee and Cards

Love What You Do!

I have used this stamp set so much for "stepped up" cards. I love the flower image so much. If you look on Pinterest or You Tube you can find a TON of examples. What I hadn't realised at first was that this was also the perfect set for a clean and simple one layer card! And thus perfect for Coffee and Cards.

This card is perfect for beginners or those just building their supplies. It uses one Stamp Set, a Memento Black ink pad , a little water spritzer and three Stampin Write Markers. Add in your card base and layer and that is it!

I have used the back ground stamp in the set to colour onto in three horizontal stripes using the three different colour markers, spritzed lightly with water and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. Leave until dry (just a few moments) and then stamp the flower image and sentiment in Memento ink over the top. It creates a lovely water colour effect behind the flowers.

The ladies made some beautiful cards!

All that is left to finish it off then is to add a little of the same colours to the petals.

Don't forget to stamp on your envelope too. None of my ladies send cards with naked envelopes these days 😀Though I did forget to snap a pic of their envelopes.

It's great to demonstrate a beautiful card using just a few products - you don't have to own everything to make something gorgeous especially when Stampin Up make everything to match.

Here are all the products we used to make the card with clickable links to my online shop

I use more products and demonstrate techniques at my Monthly class to make more "stepped up" cards. Here are a couple of examples using the same stamp set .

 A Birthday Note - P.S. You're The Best!

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Go For Greece Blog Hop!

I am so happy to be blog hopping today with some of Kylie's Go For Greece Training Group.

I am a part of this fab group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators who are all aiming for the incentive trip to the Greek Isles and learning so much along the way!  I'm really happy to be part of this blog hop! There are so many talented crafters in this group, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

I couldn't wait to ink up this new stamp set as soon as I received it.  I love the typewriter image and all the little notes you can stamp onto the sheet of paper.

Such a fun and versatile set, this time I have used it to make a birthday card.
I have teamed it up with the new Handwritten large background stamp. I love the words!

I love this stamp set so much , it is perfect for the theme of the Global Design Project #GDP142 this week! The theme this week is to share what makes you live for stamping. It could be a stamp set or tool, anything you like. This set just grabs me. I have SO many ideas bouncing around in my head for it. It just makes the creativity flow if you know what I mean.

My card base is Rich Razzleberry card. I have used the new Tea For Two Designer Series Paper for my layer. It is so beautiful. I love the colour combination of Coastal Cabana and Rich Razzleberry and have matched the colours in my stamping. I have added a little Smokey Slate too.

I have added some of the Whisper White and Sliver Bakers Twine and some of the Artisan Pearls to finish it off.

I hope you like my " Birthday Note" card. I can see lots of projects coming up on my blog using this set.  Do hop around and see what the rest of the talented Go For Greece Group have come up with.

You can find all the products I have used here with clickable links to my online shop

Beautiful Butterfly Card - Tea Time Suite. Stampin Up

Butterfly Card - Tea Time Suite.

Card using Tea Time DSP and Butterfly from Tea Room Memories and More Pack. Stampin Up

This has got to be one of my favourite Suite in the new Annual Stampin Up catalogue. I think it was the combination of the colours and images in the Designer Series Papers and Memories and More Cards that caught my eye.

This butterfly is just beautiful. Do you see its image echoed in the papers behind it too. These papers and the Memories and More cards are part of the Time For Tea Suite. The images that run through are the butterfly, bees, and of course teaspoons too. The Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry and Calypso Coral draw it all together beautifully. It reminds me of the perfect summer afternoon with a cream tea in a beautiful garden.

I have taken the little hello from the Eastern Beauty stamp set. I have stamped it on Whisper White. and it just fits the classic label punch perfectly.

These beautiful Artisan pearls and the pearlescent doily give the finishing touches to this card. It really doesn't need much as the stunning papers do all the work.

The Suite has a gorgeous stamp set and dies as well as the papers, cards ribbons and some gorgeous copper foiled stickers. I have lots of projects coming using this Suite so do pop back for some crafty inspiration.

Here are the products I have used as well as the other items in the Suite with clickable links to my online shop

Graceful Glass - Fun Fold Stained Glass Window Card . Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #020

Painted Glass - Fun Fold Stained Glass Window Card

Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #020

It's time for another Inspire Create Stamping Challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge.

Communion Card using the Painted Glass stamp set and Graceful glass DSP. Stampin Up

I love a sketch challenge. They are perfect to get your creativity flowing and it's always so interesting to see how different everyone's projects are following the same sketch.

Communion Card using the Painted Glass stamp set and Graceful glass DSP. Stampin Up

The Painted Glass stamp set is part of the Graceful Glass Suite and has just come out in the new Annual catalogue.

I have a close friend whose child has her first communion coming up, the stained glass images and sentiment are perfect to mark the occasion.

Here are all the products I used to make the card with clickable links to my online shop.

The Vellum papers are part of the suite too.

There are so many lovely designs to use. They are perfect as they are but lend themselves to colouring too. Here I used the Stampin Write Markers in Night Of Navy, Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry.

You can see what the rest of the Design Team came up with for the Inspire Create Stamping Challenge came up with here. You can see the entries here too and add your link to take part. Do play along, we'd love to have you!

How I made the card

The card base is Night Of Navy, with a Whisper White layer and the Vellum DSP. I have stamped the circle image on vellum and coloured that in the same way. I have used the 2 inch circle punch to cut it out and have backed it with  Whisper White cut out in a 2 inch circle.

Communion Card using the Painted Glass stamp set and Graceful glass DSP. Stampin Up

This card is a little different. I have used the classic label punch to punch out an aperture in the front, I have then folded the stamped circle image and placed and adhered it through the aperture so that it pops through the front and when opened is on the inside.

Fun isn't it! I'm sure this technique would work well with different fold cards.
