Book Mark With Garden In Bloom and Statement Of My Heart Stamps

Book Mark With Garden In Bloom Stamps - Fun Friday!

Book mark with Garden In Bloom from Stampin' Up!

Have you booked a summer holiday yet? I have and I can't wait. I'm already dreaming of sunny days. I always take a book on holiday. I take my Kindle these days too but there is always room for a paperback in my hand luggage. I love the smell when you open a book! Maybe I'm a bit odd but I know I'm not the only one.

And when you have a good book on holiday you need a pretty book mark.
The Garden In Bloom stamp set is gorgeous. I have used it tons. It isn't going to be in our new catalogue and am very sad to see it go at the end of this month so I thought I'd give it a last hurrah.

Here is my You Tube Video of how I made it.

I hope you enjoyed the video. Please give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you did. Don't forget to tap the little bell to be notified of future videos.

Book mark in Powder Pink made with heat embossing on vellum

I made the first one in Powder Pink card stock. It is 2 " x 7 3/4 "
The vellum is the same measurements.

Book mark in Pool Party, made using heat embossing on vellum.

And the second in Pool Party card stock.
The measurements are the same.

Back of book marks made with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and stamped with the Statement of my heart

I have my new Statement Of My Heart stamp and couldn't wait to use it on the back of these. I was so happy to see Stampin Up"s Statement Of The Heart made into a stamp! It has just come out as a free item in one of the bundles of the early release Share What You Love Suite to celebrate Stampin Up!'s 30th Anniversary. You can only get it this way and after May this stamp wont be available in a catalogue. If you would like to see the Suite, read more about it in my blog post Here

I love the combination of clear and silver heat embossing on the vellum. It makes it look so delicate. and I love the cute little bee don't you?

I chose the sentiment "Life is a beautiful thing" from the Colourful Season's stamp set. Which it is when you are on your holiday, relaxing with a good book.

It's such a simple but fun little project to round the week off with. I hope I have inspired you to have a go too. I will be back every Friday with a new fun project and more in between.

You can see all the products I have used in the images below with clickable links to my on line shop.
