Coffee And Cards , Summer Holidays And The C word!

Christmas Wreaths At Coffee And Cards

Coffee and Cards returned this week. I had a fabulous summer holiday and it was so lovely to have this to look forward to on my return. I am so lucky to have some very lovely ladies who come along and it was great to see them, catch up and create some fab cards with them too.

Is it too early for the C word? Probably not in the crafting community. Many people start their Christmas cards early to give themselves lots of time to make special cards for friends and family. So I brought just a little taste of Christmas with me this week. I wanted to show how this stamp set which makes the most beautiful sunflowers can be used in a very different and useful way to make a Christmas wreath card,

So simple to make, yet so effective. The sunflower stamp is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink, twice. One on top of the other, offset to give more leaves. The berries are actually the sunflower head seeds just stamped in Cherry Cobbler red. The sentiment is taken from another Christmas stamp set. I have added some ribbon and a Cherry Cobbler red card base and it is complete!

The next cards and candle were all made at previous coffee and card sessions - The sunflower is stunning. Such a versatile stamp set to have in your stash.

Sunflower card made with the same stamp set .

We stamped them onto candles too and the matching tag.

This cute little acorn is also in this stamp set.

They made a beautiful job of the Christmas wreaths didn't they. They were very patient with my befuddled jet lagged brain this week too 💕

Here are the stamp set, card and ink we used, with clickable links to my online shop.
