Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #032

Swirly Snowflakes Christmas Card

Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #032

This time on Inspire Create Stamping Challenge we have a sketch challenge. And interestingly, this time we have pretty much a blank canvas to work with. I do love a sketch challenge.

The weather has suddenly turned cold around here and winter has definitely arrived. I often get inspired by the seasons and this is no exception. I wanted to create a Christmas card that had a wintery feel to it.

Christmas Card, Woodland embossing folder, snowflakes, Stampin Up,

I decided to keep everything Whisper White and Silver and created a background by running a panel of Whisper White through the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I simply added some snowflakes from the Layering Seasons Thinlit dies in Silver Foil Card and some Rhinestones.

I added "to the world" from the Feathered Frost Stamp set inside in Night Of Navy

Christmas Card, Woodland embossing folder, snowflakes, Stampin Up,

I did a little mix and matching with my dies on this card. I heat embossed the "Joy" in Silver on a scrap of Whisper White and cut it out using the smallest Stitched Shape circle die. The Swirls are from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlit dies. I normally keep to one set of dies on a card but I do love those swirls and they have been sitting in my stash waiting to be used! - Use what you have. Don't be afraid to mix and match!

Do hop over to the Inspire Create Stamping Challenges here to see what the rest of the talented Design Team have come up with. Do play along too. It is very easy to add your link. Every challenge, a winner is announced and we love to have lots of entries.

I hope you like my card. Here are the products I used with clickable links to my online shop.

Christmas - Rudolph Chocolate Treat Slider and Extravaganza Sale!

Rudolph Chocolate Treat Slider

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

I have a very cute Christmas project to show you and I have used some of the paper, card and ribbon that is in our Online Extravaganza sale that starts today!

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

With Rudolph on the outside and inside too!

Christmas chocolate treat holder, Treat Slider

See how he slides!

I think this is a really cute fun gift. Perfect for a treat or a stocking filler and so easy to make.

I used some of the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper - which is on sale in the Online Extravaganza that starts today! All of the Paper, card and embellishments form the Annual Catalogue are in today's sale which lasts for 48 hours.

There are limited amounts of each product available however so don't wait to order.

Very simple to make

You need a piece of paper that is 6 x 6 inches.

Score at 2.5 and 5 inch.
Turn and score at half an inch - this is the bottom.
Adhere together to make your pouch using tear n tape.

Punch a hole in the top using a half inch circle punch

Wrap your ribbon around the length of the chocolate bar and back up through the holes, securing with some linen thread in a little bow. He will then slide up and down.

I decorated mine using the scalloped tag topper punch and the Cookie Cutter stamp and punch.

Depending on the size of your chocolate treat you may need to adjust your measurements to fit. I took inspiration from this from a couple of swaps I recently got with coffee in and chocolate in. It was very easy to adapt the measurements.

Here are the products I used to make the Slider with clickable links to my online shop.

Beautiful Baubles Swing Card.

Beautiful Baubles Swing Card

Deck The Halls!

Beautiful Baubles Swing Aperture Card. Stampin' Up

I am loving the Beautiful Baubles stamps and dies bundle this season and to make a "stepped up" card they make easy work of it.

Beautiful Baubles bundle Stampin' Up!

The baubles were cut out from Copper Foil Card using one of the bauble dies and then attached to the top of the aperture with copper thread to allow it to swing.

I designed this card for my Christmas Stamp a Stack event last month

It seems to be all about Copper for me at the moment, I love the reversible Merry Merlot and Copper Ribbon so it was easy to decide in the colours for this card.

Lots of Happy Card Kit, Stampin Up, Coffee and Cards

After having the most amazing time at Stampin' Up'!s  Onstage Convention in Orlando last week I landed back in the UK on Monday looking forward to Coffee and Cards on Tuesday morning. I love spending time crafting with these ladies and was able to share my swaps and all about the trip. - more to come about that.

Christmas Table Favours - Inspire Create Challenge #031

Christmas Table Favours

Inspire Create Challenge #031

Christmas Table Favours Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #31

It's time for another Inspire Create Stamping Challenge, and this time we have a colour challenge!

Very Christmassy don't you think? I thought so and decided to make some Christmas table/Party favours using the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes.

Christmas Table Favours Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #31

I used the gorgeous, Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper to go around the box. The colours are perfect as they match the challenge. This piece has Shaded Spruce, Sahara Sand and Copper.  I cut a 2 inch strip and wrapped it around the box. creasing against the corners as I went and secured it at the side with tear n tape.

Christmas Table Favours Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #31

I have cut a 1 3/4 inch circle from Whisper White card using the circle punch and added some simple stamping in Merry Merlot and Shaded Spruce inks, using the Feathers And Frost stamp set. The sprigs are punched out of Copper Foiled paper and Shaded Spruce card and sandwiched between using Dimensionals.

Christmas Table Favours Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #31

I have added some of the gorgeous reversible Merry Merlot/Copper Ribbon to make it look beautiful. Tying it around the side to cover the seam of the DSP.

Christmas Table Favours Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #31

These are very simple and easy to make. Filled with chocolates or sweets or even a small gift, these would make the perfect favour to go on your Christmas table or at a party.

Hop over to the Inspire Create Stamping Challenges here and see what the rest of the talented Design Team have come up here. You can see all the other entries and perhaps join along too. We would love to have you.

I hope you like it. Here are the products I have used with clickable links to my online shop.

May Your Christmas Be Bright!

May Your Christmas Be Bright !

Making Christmas Bright - Stampin' Up!

Making Christmas Bright Christmas card. Stampin Up

This little string of fairy lights is from the Making Christmas Bright stamps and Punch Bundle.

This is the kind of stamp set where I can see a use for every single stamp in it. I love that because you will really get lots of use out of it.

Christmas card with fairy lights stamp by Inkstampshare

I was looking to make a lovely, simple card that also had a little wow factor to it. One that could be reproduced easily to make in a batch to give out to friends. This little lightbulb string with some Gold embossing fits the bill perfectly!

I have stamped the lights in clear Versamark and used Gold Stampin Emboss powder to heat emboss before simply colouring in with Stampin Write Markers in Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.

Making Christmas Bright Christmas card with gold embossing.

I have carried on the gold embossing with the wreath image and the word Bright to make it pop. It is is cut out with a circle punch and layered on top of the gorgeous Merry Merlot/Copper Reversible Ribbon.

Such a quick and easy card, using the less obvious stamp in the set but very effective don't you think. They would be very easy to make as a batch too. I love this set, it's so versatile as it has a great punch that goes with it too! Its a good one to bring out year after year.  Here are a couple of other cards I have made using this set, here and here

Here are the products I have used to make the card, with clickable links to my online shop.
